Tips for Travel with Tots

Traveling with kiddos can be stressful, but if I'm organized and well prepared, it can be fun too. Well, almost ;-) Snacks, snacks, and more snacks. Everyone knows this must have when traveling with little ones. In addition, toys and travel friendly activities accompany us on every flight or long car trips that my family goes on. We recently returned from Spring Break, which included two 9+ hour car rides, so I've got a few helpful organizing tips to share that worked great for us. The Costume Wall

Everyone's current favorite play storage area is the costume wall. All costumes and accessories are hung with my favorite organizing tool that I've literally mentioned in every blog post so far, The Command Hooks! They're hung at kid height so they grab whatever they want and get right to it. The bottom row is for the costumes and the top row is for masks and other accessories. This area does get messy pretty easily so I also have a basket on the floor (not pictured) for the kids to toss things into if they just can't handle hanging items back up on their hooks (which we all know happens more than not).
